Q: is it worth buying a service contract with a new 2010 Honda Accord EX L?
I just bought a brand new 2010 Honda Accord EX L and the finance Mgr told me that he would buy the service contract with the car in case anything goes wrong after the factory warranty expires. This is my first brand new car so I am looking for advice from experts and Honda owners to whether or not buy this additional contract. the contract cost is $1,500 and its with 3rd party not thru Honda
Thanks a bunch!!
Thanks all for your valued feedback! that's what I was thinking, the only reason I was hesitant about it and got me thinking since the EX-L is power everything which could have a more possibility to break as time passes which can be expensive to fix
A: nope.
p.s you picked a really reliable car
Q: 2010 Toyota Camry SE or 2010 Honda Accord EX?

Q: Who owns a 2010 ex V6 Honda Accord and would like to tell me about it?
I am 17 and my parents want me to get a car. They like this car a lottt and so do I. Please give me sites where I can learn about them. Thanks alot!!!
Details and how you like it would help too!
A: The only negative thing I've heard of the current generation Accords is that they eat through rear brakes like theres no tommorrow. But Honda might have solved that problem.
Q: Do they make the 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L in a Manual transmission?
A: The 4 cylinder EX-L does not have an option of manual transmission. The 4 cylinder EX comes in manual and auto, same with the EX-L V6.
Q: Which car should I get: A 2010 VW GTI or a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6?
Now, I know these two are very different. When it comes to handling, performance, and quality but it's come down to the two. Now, this is my first car because I'm only turning 17 in a couple of months. But I figured why not compile some facts on the cars about their reliability and whether or not I can live with it day to day.
I love how the new GTI looks and it has a great new interior. It's just, a GTI isn't my type. I feel like I wouldn't be able to pull it off. But I currently drive my brother's MkV GTI and absolutely love it so the new GTI would be an obvious choice.
However, I really like the way the Honda looks inside and out. And it has a lot more power than the GTI. I think Honda is more my league. With the GTI, you become part of this club and honestly, I don't want to be apart of it.
Well, let me know what you guys think, regardless of how stupid a question this is. Thanks.
A: Aw man, easy, the V6. That thing has quite the kick! Actually, that's the same car I decided on.
250 horsepower man, and you can FEEL the engine through the steering wheel! I love that car!! And I'm only talking about a 06 or 07, the 10 must feel great.
As far as reliability, you just can't beat the Honda Accord.
Q: 2010 Honda Accord Sedan/Coupe?
I am looking to purchase a new 2010 Honda Accord Coupe, Ex Model and was wondering if anyone knows if the 2010 accord models are affected by the brakes problem like the older models has. Thank you in advance
A: All the problems should be worked out, so I think you would be fine with purchasing one.
Q: Is $29,000 a good Drive-Out Price for a 2010 Honda Accord?
I recent negotiated for the price of a 2010 Honda Accord Couple EX-L v6. The drive out price all together will be $29,000. Is that a good price? I live in Tampa, FL also.

MSRP on the sticker of the car was, I believe, $30,700 .... that is without TTL...

I did get it below KBB's invoice for the car....
I've looked at a few other dealerships, and can't seem to get a better deal... maybe $100 or $200 more than that.
A: what was MSRP?
Q: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro vs. 2010 Honda Accord Coupe?
I turn 16 in less than a month and my parents have agreed to get me a new car for my birthday (call me spoiled but believe me, my situation enables me to deserve such a gift), and my number one choice is the new Camaro. This is an obvious desire, and for a 16 year old a risky option, and can be pricey when factoring in insurance. My parents have suggested instead to get me the Honda Accord Coupe, which is admittedly extremely awesome looking but just lacks that cool factor any teenager wants, especially because I am a boy and the Accord has a certain, girlishness about it.
My parents are giving me an ultimatum - get the base Camaro LS, which is the cheapest of course but lacks a lot of features such as wheels and leather seats among many other things, which would make up for the pricey insurance, or get a Honda Accord coupe EX-L, which is a pretttty nice package with leather seats (in case you haven't noticed, Leather seats is a big feature for me lol) and because my father owns a Honda motorcycle shop in town we have a deal with the car dealership to get any vehicle at cost, so the Accord would be the cheaper option overall.
Which one do you think I should go for? I would like a new Dodge Ram but for what I want they are just too expensive... so these are two amazing cars I get to choose from but I'm just torn between them! Thanks for your advice.
About the parents paying the money thing - they are paying for most of it but I am paying 250 a month for the car note, so in the end I will have payed for half the car. But still, for them to offer to pay for half the car and even the insurance is amazing, so yeah it is pretty much their say in the end.
I meant the type of wheels... the LS has fugly black ones.
And thanks, if I really was spoiled I'd feel like I'd have to explain why I am able to get a brand new car for Christmas but I'm not, so I'm not going to defend myself.
And thanks for the quick advice you guys, I'm already beginning to take it all into consideration!
A: Hey Jasper,
Well, first off; congrats on the prospect of getting a brand new car. Your first car is always your most memorable -- whether that be for good or bad reasons! You have two very interesting options here, so let me tell you what we here at AM think you should do.
While the Camaro is, without a doubt, the penultimate teen car and the coolest looking vehicle on the road right now, it might not be your best bet. While your parents have offered to pay the insurance on whichever vehicle you choose, you might want to keep in mind that even the base Camaro will be considered a “sports car” where as the Accord will not. Being 16 and male, the insurance companies are just going to milk your parents for every penny they’ve got -- especially if you happen to have an accident with your brand new ride.
True, the Camaro is the cooler, more stylish, uber-male vehicle, but in the end the Accord is your best option. As you said, you get leather seats, heated front seats, 10-way power adjust seats, steering-wheel mounted controls and reliability. See how I threw that last one in? Reliability is your very best friend when it comes to your first car. Unfortunately the American auto industry has yet to catch up with the Asian players and it’s painfully clear in the quality of build of their vehicles. Hondas are notoriously reliable and long-lasting vehicles so you can bet this one will last you well into your 20s or whenever you scrounge up enough cash to splurge on a vintage, well-kept 1983 T-top Camaro.

Q: Share your opinion: If you were going to buy a car and choices are between a 2010 Toyota Camry SE or....?
2010 Honda accord EX, which one would you buy, and why?

Q: What is the average amount of horse power for a sedan?
My family and I are looking deeply into the 2010 Honda Accord but it has 190 horsepower, is that average or does it compare to that of the average sedan?
Thank's for your feedback
And if anybody has this car(the 2010 Honda Accord Ex) please let me know what you think about it. Thank you!!!
A: 4 cylinder sedans typically run from 145hp-190hp give or take (also depends on what class the car is, compact, midsize, etc). V-6 sedans are usually in the 230hp-300hp range give or take, most common is 250-270ish.
For comparison, a 4 cylinder Chevy Malibu is rated for 169hp. The V6 version is rated at 252hp.
A Toyota Camry 4 cylinder is rated at 169hp or 179hp depending on what engine. The V6 version is rated at 268hp.
The Accord 4 cylinder comes in 2 flavors, the one you are looking at is the higher end version. The other Accord 4 cylinder is rated at 177hp. 190hp is very good for a 4 cylinder sedan (as you can see by comparison to competitors). It's high for a 4 cylinder sedan, and that's a good thing.
Q: How long will delivery of a new car be?
I am thinking of buying a 2010 honda accord coupe EX-L V6. The dealer couldn't find the one i want so they will have to custom order it. About how long could delivery take for this car, they are saying 3 months but that sounds long to me.
i want a stock Accord coupe V6 the problem is i want the blue with tan interior in manual, aparently its a realy hard find?
A: Ask the dealer. Depending on the sales volume it could take awhile for them to build your car especially if its got uncommon/less popular options.
Once its built they need to put it on a train to your area. From there its trucked to your local dealer. Both of those take time too.
Q: What do people think of this car?
2010 Honda Ex Accord
im debating between a smoke grey paint job or white or black but right now smoke grey takes the lead (also known as charcoal). The windows are tinted and that is about it. What do people think of this car??
A: lighter colors don't show dirt, dings or scratches. i know everyone says darker colors are better, but they are not. ask any paint shop. smoke or gunmetal Grey is the best of both worlds.
