Q: How much did it cost you to own 2008 Honda Accord LX Sedan?
I am planning to own a new honda accord LX Sedan but wondering the right price to own. I know Kelley Blue Book prices but I would like people's experiences. Please provide a price including Destination Charge. Thanks!

A: Well depending on the dealership you may be at full sticker, kbb is good for used vehicles not new ones. You can look up invoice by google and negotiate from there.

Q: I am buying a 2008 Honda Accord LX. It has 16" rims and wheel covers. Can I install 17" alloy wheels later?
Can I do this without any modifications?

A: Yes, as long as they are the same bolt size and pattern.

Q: what kind of fuel should i use for a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P?
regular? plus? premium/v-power?

A: It calls for regular, but I'd just use mid-grade... It isn't timed for Premium, so premium does nothing beneficial, except keep the engine nice and clean. Also, personally I steer clear of shell and chevron gasoline. I don't trust there false ads about beneficial additives in their gas. When they say they have additives, I keep driving, even if I'm out of gas! Call me stupid all you want yahoo answerers but this is America, and I am free to choose my gas, and it isn't Shell or Chevron. There are MANY others, but I don't need to go into all that. Just use mid-grade...

Q: radio code on 2008 honda accord LX and LXP?
why is in on a 2008 honda accore lx and lxp there is no radio code? if you disconnect your battery you dont need a radio code.sounds strange to me

A: they gave up do to the headache with people calling for their code again. No one wants an OEM radio, especially since they are custom designed to fit only your dash. Older radios were a generic DIN chassis which made them more desireable to thieves to use in other cars.

Q: 2008 Honda Accord coupe Lx vs. 2009 Mini Cooper hardtop s?
what car would be better if the Honda Accord Lx is around $19,000 with 14k miles and the 2009 Cooper is $25,000 with 0 miles. i think the interior of the cooper is much nicer than the honda but since bmw owns mini the maintenance would be expensive right? i also like the aux feature that i think comes standard with the cooper, does this also come standrd in the Honda? thanks

A: I drive the Honda, BMW, Porsche and Mini lineup on a regular basis and wanted to share my thoughts with you. First, the Honda Accord will have a much better resale value than the Mini. Mini's tend to overheat due to their small engine bay which as time wears on causes the drive-train to breakdown prematurely. Second, the Mini Cooper is louder then the Honda Accord and has an average stereo system. While some people enjoy hearing their engines, a good stereo helps fight boredom on long trips to work. Finally and MOST IMPORTANT! The Mini S needs 92 octane to perform at its peak. Expect to pay at least $.30 at the pump per gallon than the Honda owner. In these hard economic times saving a dime is more important than the S logo! I wrote a review of the 2009 Honda Accord that should help you get more details about the car: http://www.epinions.com/review/2009_Honda_Accord_Sedan_epi/content_458336669316

Q: How do i work the iPod in my 2008 Honda Accord Coupe LX?
I bought a cable and the music from my iPod plays through the speakers just fine. My problem is that i can't control my iPod through the buttons on my dashboard (Folder up/down for example). I was wondering if there is something special i have to do to get these buttons to work. Thanks.

A: you cant control the menus from the controls on the dash, even if you buy the ipod integration kit. if the cable is an auxiliary cable, you can only control the ipod through the ipod itself.

Q: when to schedule first oil change for a 2008 honda accord lx-p model?

A: The car will notify you when to change the oil. If you push the button for your odometer, you will see the phrase "oil life" It'll give you a percentage. When it gets to about 10-15% oil life. You need an oil change. And also the maintenance icon will appear on your dash. You wont have to change your oil for about 7 or 8 thousand miles!!!

Q: Are there aftermarket exhausts for the 2008 Honda Accord Coupe LX?
I'm just trying to find a good sounding, aftermarket exhaust for my Accord.

A: Well the 08 Accord Coupe is new to the market, so not many tuning companies have really had a chance to draft up a good exhaust system and have it fully tested and ready for bolt on sale. However, i have seen people with 08 Accord Coupes running Greddy Exhausts, they will most likely have to be modified to fit on your Accord, but most muffler shops can knock that out without a problem. In fact, heres a video of one in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY5jlZ3ayZw So if you like the sound of that, you might want to head over to Greddy's site, see what they got, and go through a muffler shop to have it modified for your car. The other thing you could do is just go to a muffler shop and have them custom fabricate one for you, usually muffer shops can do this for your with exhausts from a good company like magnaflow. Its a little bit more expensive then just having an exhaust system that simply bolts up, but for the money, you can actually have a custom made exhaust that will sound and perform better than most of the bolt on exhausts you can buy.

Q: Honda Accord 2008 LX
How to reset maintenance requirement light on Honda Accord 2008 LX?

A: take to dealer its likely under warranty

Q: Honda Accord 2008 Lx-P. The Dealer Sticker price is 22840. What will be good bargain? How much i should offer?

A: You will have a bettter chance getting a deal on the car if it is going to be cash. if so, offer him $19,500. I am sure he will go for that. If financing, try for $21,000.

Q: 2008 honda accord lx what did you pay ?
2.5 4cyl auto.. what did you pay either out the door, or (including destination and any fake documentation fee) tell me if you had a trade in value. 2.5 4 cyl auto 4dr sedan.... what was your price before tax title and registration?...tell me if the price included a trade in credit and / or one of those fake documentation fees

A: MSRP on this car is $23,960. Only suckers pay more than MSRP. Invoice price (what the dealer pays) is $21,711. If you march into a dealership and tell them, "I will pay $22,800 for this car. If you try to haggle I will walk out" you should have yourself a deal. Don't deal with all those extra fees. Most of those are bogus. That is 5% more than what they paid for it. That is fair for both of you. Grocery stores make about 3% profit. So you are not making their kids starve by giving them 5% profit. Only a stupid salesman will let you walk out of there. Also, stay firm and be ready to walk out. There are a million Honda dealerships. Don't feel like you have to have a car that day. EDIT: I was looking at the DX model. Invoice on the LX is only $19, 100 (without options). So don't pay more than $20,055. You can go on the Honda website to see how much options add. Then add fees (SOME of those dealer fees are legit) and tax, title, etc.

Q: Should I get 2009 Toyota Camry SE or 2008 Honda Accord LX V6?
I just test drove the 2009 Toyota Camry, it's so comfortable and good-looking. I like the interior and features. I have yet to see Honda Accord What do you guys think? Psssh, give me a break on those American "pain 'n the 4ss 'n wallet" cars. I've been driving a jeep for years it felt like a century, I've spent so much on repairs. Enough, plus the GAS prices are so high, I'd stick to Toyota/Lexus -Honda/Acura Japanese cars. 31/mpg compare to 16/mpg

A: I test drove Corolla S 09 yesterday and it was beautiful compare to 08 body. If Corolla S 09 was beautiful then so much the Camry 09 should be. But give the Accord 09 a chance. You'd never know it might change your mind. I have an Accord EX V6 myself.

Q: I want to buy new 19" rims for a 2008 Honda Accord coupe LX. Do I need to buy new tires as well? ?
These are the rims Offset: 45mm Backspacing: 6.29" Bolt Pattern: 5-114 Rec. Tire Size: 245/40-19 Weight: 29.5lbs.

A: if you have the original tires and they are not 19" inner diameter you will have to buy new tires. I don't believe the original tires are 19" so the answer is yes, you'll have to buy new tires edit-- the stock rims are 18" rims so the tires will be too small to fit on the 19" rim.

Q: 2008 Honda Accord LX-S coupe 0-60 time?
I can only find the 0-60 time of the V6, and the 177 HP 4Cyl version. How about the 4Cyl 190HP? Let me know.....

A: I found one listing that shows the new Accord with the 190 hp inline 4 cyl. motor delivering the following 0-60 results: 7.9 sec. for MT 9.1 sec. for AT
