A: there is a safety switch you need to get to it should be by the shifter and be a raised lil piece of plastic lift it off and stick the key or a kay into it and push down on it while shifting the car out of park

to make it your own you really have to go for what style you like...otherwise its not your own!..but generally just try wheels to start of with, they make a huge difference to the look of the car, then maybe tinted windows...a huge spoiler would get you laughed at...but as i say just look at others on the internet and see what style takes you, try this site, its a good place to see what others have done,

because usually I looked on other Honda Accords and I know what their drl look like compared to mine where the low beam lights are always on. I even checked if the headlight switch was on but it isn't.

I have a 2005 Honda Accord that the Drive Side window will not work. The master switch was replaced for all indows and locks but the window still will not operate. Fuses are good. Any ideas on problem? Also since we replaced the master swith the key remote will not work to lock/unlock doors and open trunk. Any ideas why?

Q: My 2005 Honda Accord only has heat on the passenger side, what do you think is the problem?
It blows hot on the drivers side for a moment then only blowscold air. I have had Radiator problems in the past and this problem developed after the radiator was replaced.
A: It seems like a flapper(air diverter valve)somewhere in the system has gone awry, but I can't say much besides that.If it were the radiator, it would be all cold air.Do you hear a click anywhere when it switches to cold air?
Q: I have a 2005 honda accord and radio needs a code?
I already have the code but i dont know how to enter it. Can someone help me? i cant stand driving around with no radio. i would greatly appreciate it if someone gave me some instructions.
A: If you entered the code more than three times incorrectly then the radio will lock you out for a minimum of 24 hours.
the way around the lockout is to either disconnect the negative battery cable and leave it off for 3 minutes or to go into the underhood fuse and relay box and remove the "back-up" fuse and leave that out for 3 minutes. Doing either will clear the memory of the failed entry attempts and allow you to enter the code.
when you reconnect the battery or reinstall the fuse and turn the radio ON you will see the CODE message. use the preset buttons to enter the 5 digit code and your radio will come back to life.

Q: My 2005 Honda Accord inside stereo light is not working, how to fix it?
I'm sure it's an easy fix and here is what happens...
1. Start the car and light is on (where it illuminates the time, stereo, etc.
2. Turn on head lights
3. When my head lights are on, the inside light turns off!
To see the time or radio station, I would have to use a flashlight or turn off my headlights for a couple of seconds. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
A: Hi there, first of all, Honda Accords (including my own) ALWAYS have this problem. You should first try replacing the fuses...if this does not work, take it straight to the dealer because there has been a nation-wide recall on the stereo lights so they will fix it for free for you, good luck!

Q: how do you remove the honda emblem off the grill assembly on a 2005 honda accord?
my buddy had his pop off his assembly and he bought another assembly and just wants to take the emblem off of the new assembly and put it on his already attached grill assembly

We have a 2005, Honda Accord, that is making a humming sound only after starting and while it runs. As soon as you turn it off, you can kind of hear fade away. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be? It sounds exactly like a humming, high pitch kind of sound. Thanks
A: the first thing to check is the level of your power steering fluid. you check that by opening the hood and looking through the white plastic jug that you'll see in the driver's side front of the engine compartment. that white bottle will have a red cap on it. check the level against the line on the side of the container that says "max". if the fluid is low you'll have to add Honda Power Steering fluid to correct it. don't use anything else.
beyond that, while you have the hood up, start the engine and see if you can hear where the noise is coming from. driver's side would be from the belts or perhaps a bearing in the alternator or power steering pump.
if you hear the noise inside the car on the passenger side chances are you have 'stuff' in the blower motor for the heating and air conditioning unit. if you have debris in there it will make that type of noise.
if you only hear the noise when driving and not at stops then it would more likely be a tire, wheel bearing or axle noise. this would be particularly true if the noise increases with vehicle speed.
hard to diagnose noises without hearing them so the more info you can provide the better chance you have of getting good feedback.

A: yep,u'r fuse is blown off.it shoud be underneath the driver seat.also read the car manual 4 proper instructions as 2 how 2 remove & replace the fuse.
